It took a long time
To say good-bye
To the year 2002.
Because it was taking with it
My only worldy possession
The 'acceptance' of mine,
As such I used to be.
In the mean time
The 2003 has dawn into
Our drawing rooms,
So, welcome to the new day
Of the year new to us.
